Honey and the Money’s debut full-length album “The Elephant in the Room”, is slated for a fall 2007 release. The new album is an extremely ambitious effort. Filled with lush arrangements and accompanied by string and horn sections, the duo has taken full advantage of the limitlessness of recording. This record, more than anything, is a record of great songs. It is filled with memorable hooks and melodies, coupled with some serious heart and soul. This record delivers it all; from the anthemic choruses of “Still Beautiful” and “Never Lonely” to the earnest and emotionally laced ballads like “Disconnect” and the electrical storm-like cacophony of “Heaven’s on the Rise”.
